nThioglycolic is formulated with thioglycolic acid, a mercaptocarboxylic acid that appears as a colorless liquid with a strong characteristic odor. Its cosmetic use has been indicated for the treatment of skin hyperpigmentations, especially periocular (dark circles). nThioglycolic contains nanoparticles of thioglycolic acid associated with an odor-neutralizing agent that masks the unpleasant organoleptic properties of the active ingredient, such as the strong characteristic odor, providing a more pleasant sensory experience in the final product.
Usage recommendations: External use. Creams, gels, serums, and emulsions (2 – 5% for dark circles; up to 15% for other applications).
